Our embassy
The British Embassy in Seoul represents the UK Government in the Republic of Korea. We provide practical advice, support and assistance to British nationals who travel to or live in Korea. We act as the eyes and ears of the British Government in Korea, providing information on developments in Korea. We provide information on the likely effects on the UK of decisions made in Korea, and vice versa. We also provide support to UK firms who want to trade with and export to Korea and encourage Korean companies to invest in the UK.
An important part of our work is to provide services to Koreans who are interested in the UK. This includes issuing visas to those who wish to visit Britain and providing access to information about the UK.
