Ceremonies

There are three ceremonies which take place annually here in Korea:

Gloster valley

"Gloster" as it's known throughout the British Community in Seoul is our annual Memorial Service to all those British

Servicemen who died during the Korean War.

The Memorial site is located at Solma-ri, which saw some of the most fierce and bloody battles undertaken by British forces.

Kapyong

The Battle of Kapyong took place in April 1951 and is commemorated each year at the Commonwealth Memorial in Kapyong.

Remebrance Sunday

Remembrance Sunday is commemorated by the British community worldwide on the Sunday closest to November 11th each

year. This service is held in memory of all those killed during all conflicts.
